Kathleen is a Colorado native, having grown up in Littleton. Kathleen first became interested in physical therapy in high school after accompanying her father to physical therapy sessions for his shoulder and knee injuries. While attending Colorado State University for undergrad, she competed in Cross Country and remains an avid runner still today. Kathleen also worked as a personal trainer and spin instructor throughout college. Recently, she has become passionate about Pilates and is pursuing further certification. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family in the great outdoors.
Professional Experience and Education
Kathleen completed her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science-Sports Medicine from Colorado State University in 2009 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center in 2015. She gained experience in manual therapy, orthopedics, and Pilates through rotations at Blue Sky Physical Therapy and Select Physical Therapy in Littleton, CO. Kathleen also had a rotation focusing on geriatrics and neurological rehab at Innovage in Denver, CO and ManorCare Center in Denver, CO.
